In our country, since the first days of independence, the President has paid special attention to the field of education. As a result of this attention, all opportunities have been created today for our students to receive an education that fully meets international standards, to be educated in the spirit of love for the Motherland, and for our professors and teachers to provide high-quality education and continuously improve their qualifications.
Currently, our branch has 3 faculties and 10 departments, and our professors and teachers teach students in 9 bachelor’s degree programs.
Currently, the branch employs 1 head of the educational and methodological department, 1 deputy head of the educational and methodological department, 1 head of the educational process organization, 3 methodologists, and 1 clerk.
The Educational and Methodological Department, under the leadership of the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, in cooperation with the dean’s office and departments, carries out the following work:
• Ensuring the implementation of decisions and instructions of higher organizations, decisions, orders, and instructions of the Ministry related to the educational process;
• Preparation for approval of working curricula for bachelor’s and master’s specialties, developed in accordance with the requirements of the state standard and taking into account the capabilities of the branch and production requirements;
• Preparation and approval of work programs for teaching subjects in accordance with their curricula for undergraduate and graduate specialties;
• Determining the staff size of the departments, taking into account the total branch workload and student body, and recommending recruitment for the faculty in accordance with regulatory documents;
• Submission of candidates for the approval of chairpersons of state certification commissions;
• Preparation of proposals for the composition of state certification commissions and monitoring their activities;
• Studying the provision of students with textbooks, teaching aids, and other literature according to the blocks of curricula in accordance with the State Standard;
• Providing complete educational and methodological complexes for the subjects in the curriculum, updating and improving them;
• Improving the rating system for monitoring student knowledge, including the introduction of the written form of work, and monitoring and discussing their compliance with the regulations;
• development of annual and calendar plans for professional development and increasing the academic level of professors and teachers;
• Preparation of proposals for the Branch Council to open new departments, faculties, and specialties;
• monitors the preparation of the dean’s offices and departments for the new academic year and conducts other similar work. It should be emphasized that the goal of the reforms being implemented by our government today is to create sufficient opportunities for young people to gain in-depth knowledge and master the secrets of professions. Therefore, we must effectively use the opportunities created for young people to enhance our knowledge and utilize the knowledge gained for the development of our Motherland.
