By the decision of the extraordinary meeting of the Council of the Nukus branch of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan No. 3 dated October 6, 2023, the “Theatrical Art” faculty was established. The faculty had 3 departments, of which the “Acting Skills,” “Directing Arts,” and “Vocal” departments were merged. Senior Lecturer of the Department of Folk Art of the Faculty “Folk Art” Daniyar Otarbaev was appointed to the position of Dean of the Faculty “Theatrical Art,” B. Rajapbayev for academic work and N. Bekmuratov for youth affairs were appointed to the position of Deputy Dean of the Faculty.

By the decision of the next faculty meeting No. 1 of October 27, 2023, the faculty council was formed. The faculty council approved the faculty’s annual and academic year plans for academic affairs and youth affairs. The tasks that need to be completed according to the plan were assigned to the responsible persons.       D. Ermanova was appointed as a consultant for the faculty’s work on women’s issues. M. Bekmuratov and S. Kaliyev were approved as faculty tutors. B. Maratov was approved as the faculty youth leader.

Throughout the faculty, 34 full-time professors and 8 part-time professors, including 42 instructors, teach students. Of these: professors – 7, associate professors – 7, senior lecturers – 8, assistants – 20.

Academic degree – 55.5%. Academic hours for the 2025-2026 academic year 45.5 staff units.
