Information resource center

The Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture (hereinafter referred to as the Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture) was established based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PK-845 dated April 28, 2008, and in accordance with the Resolution No. 1771 dated June 4, 2012, “On the Establishment of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture,” its name was changed to the Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture and it is part of the established structure of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Four staff positions have been allocated to the information resource center of the Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture. O’ralxon Biysenbayevna Allambergenjva holds the position of Head of the Information Resource Center, along with three librarians. The Information Resource Center’s general boo The branch’s Information Resource Center is actively working on creating electronic versions of literature. Electronic catalogs have been created to facilitate librarians’ access to the converted literature. To date, 7,146 copies of literature have been digitized.

Regarding remote access to the electronic library: The Information Resource Center has created the Telegram messenger @uzdsminf_arm for remote access to the electronic library for professors, teachers, and students. Based on Order No. 608 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education dated August 25, 2017, the Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture has placed the following electronic information resources to enhance ziyonet.uz. Graduation theses – 30

video materials for lessons – 40 units.

A unified corporate network based on fiber-optic and Wi-Fi technologies has been created at the branch, providing free and convenient access to the network’s computers for all employees, teachers, and students. When using the Internet, the “Kerio Control” program is used to protect against various religious extremist movements and videos that inappropriately affect young people.

A Wi-Fi zone has been established to provide access to modern information resources for the Branch’s Information Resource Center. Students and university applicants have access to electronic resources.
