On April 20, 2017, the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoev "On measures to further develop the higher education system" No. PQ-2909 was adopted. On July 18, 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to implement the tasks defined in this decision and to achieve efficiency in the higher education system 515 was adopted and on the basis of the Department of Quality Control of Personnel Training, Pedagogical Personnel and Educational Institutions Certification Department of the State Test Center, the State Inspection of Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established.

On the basis of these normative legal documents, in December 2017, Departments for the control of the quality of education began to operate in all higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On December 21, 2017, the Education Quality Control Department of the Nukus branch of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan was established and started its activities. According to the recommendation of the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Qalekeev Quanishbai Jartibaevich was appointed as the head of this department. Also, in accordance with paragraph 14 of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 515 dated July 18, 2017, Orazov Abdiqadir Yusupovich and Dauletmuratova Mekhribanu Bektileuovna were appointed as chief specialists of the department.

The Department of Quality Control of Education has its activities approved by the Order No. 50 of the State Inspectorate of Quality Control of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 30, 2017 “Education within the Higher Education Institutions of the Republic “On the quality control department”, the model regulation, the duly approved work plan and the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education No. 941 dated December 26, 2017 “Higher and Secondary conducted on the basis of the “Network Tariff-Qualification Reference” of the Ministry of Special Education.

The main tasks of the department are to study and analyze the compliance of the acquired knowledge of the students of the Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture with the state educational standards, to monitor the quality of personnel training and to organize internal certification of the branch, as well as , is to present the results of internal attestation, information on the factors affecting the quality of education to the director of the branch and the State Inspectorate.
