History of the department
The branch was founded in 2008, and until 2014, the department of “Social-humanitarian, acting art and art studies” operated. In the 2014-2015 academic year, taking into account the contingent of the branch, it will be divided into two departments: “Directing and acting skills” and “Social-humanitarian and art studies”. The Department of “Directing and Acting” includes “Drama Theater and Film Acting”, “Musical Theater Acting”, “Musical Theater Directing”, “Variety Acting”, “Drama Theater Directing” and “Puppet Theater Acting”.
From October 9, 2023, it was reorganized as the “Art of Directing” department.
