History of the department
The branch was founded in 2008, and in 2019 it was opened as a department of “Folk Art, Culture and Library Activities” in our branch. Since 2020, the “Folk Art” department has been created. The Department of Folk Art mainly includes four specializations: “Song and Dance” and “Folklore and Ethnography”, “Professional Education of Vocal Performance”, “Professional Education of Vocal Performance”.
From October 9, 2023, this department was reorganized into the “Folklore and Ethnography” department. The department has two specializations: “Folk ethnography” and “Bakhshichilik and epic” educational direction.
