December 1 – the day when the Karakalpak language was granted the status of a state language. In connection with the date, the “Zakavat” mental tournament was held by the Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the democratic party “National revival” from Uzbeks, in the Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Art and Culture.

Young students of the branch participated well and were awarded with certificates by the organizers.
