The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbay Sharipov received the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Indonesia Oybek Eshonov. The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and expressed confidence in the subsequent close work.

The parties recognized the importance of establishing cooperation between the responsible ministries in the field of higher education and science of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Indonesia. The exchange of experience between universities and research institutes of the two countries, the implementation of joint research projects, and the expansion of opportunities for organizing scientific seminars and conferences were discussed.

Minister K. Sharipov emphasized the importance of conducting a campaign in higher educational institutions of Indonesia to familiarize Indonesian students with the processes of admission to universities in Uzbekistan, regulating the issues of concluding educational agreements in a convenient form for both parties.
