The International Cooperation Department of the Nukus branch of the State Institute of Art and Culture of Uzbekistan was established in 2022. The Department of International Cooperation establishes cooperation with foreign higher educational institutions, research centers and institutes. The department studies and puts into practice the latest educational and scientific experience in the field of culture and art, improves the experience of students and teachers in prestigious higher educational institutions and research institutions of the world, carries out academic exchange and implements educational projects.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION DEPARTMENT:

– to establish comprehensive cooperation with foreign higher educational institutions, centers and organizations, sign Memorandums and Cooperation Agreements and ensure their implementation;

– in order to use world experience, attract foreign professors and teachers, leading experts, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Uzbekistan;

– sending talented students to foreign higher educational institutions for study and attracting foreign citizens to study at the branch on the basis of bilateral agreements and other agreements;

– holding scientific conferences, round tables and training seminars together with foreign partner universities, research institutes and organizations;

– planning and holding international events with the participation of representatives of foreign higher educational institutions and organizations together with industry divisions;

– implementation of international cooperation with foreign higher educational institutions, organizations, centers, research organizations in the higher education system, directly with foreign partner organizations on the basis of international treaties and memorandums with the permission of the relevant high-level organizations that establish good relations;

– creating conditions for young researchers, specialists and teachers of the industry to gain work experience in foreign universities and scientific organizations, undergo internships;

– support for the targeted spending of financial resources allocated by foreign funds, educational organizations, higher educational and research institutions, and the participation of teachers, interns, doctoral students, undergraduates and bachelors in foreign projects and grants – support and organization of their foreign trips;

-Coordination of issues related to the study and residence of foreign professors and teachers working in the branch on a short-term and long-term basis, and foreign citizens receiving education.

INTERNATIONAL PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS

The Nukus branch of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan signed Memorandums and Cooperation Agreements with 5 higher educational institutions of foreign countries. Two of them are among the thousands of universities in the world’s most authoritative ranking organizations.
